Meeting Details

2nd International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting

As part of a new priority on co-infections, The International AIDS society has embraced the HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection meeting as an official satellite symposium to the IAS HIV Pathogenesis conference. This year the meeting will be in Vancouver BC, and is organised by the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network.

This years meeting will set out a strategic research road-map in HIV and HBV/HCV co-infection and attempt to address the significant gap in our current understanding and response. Bringing together national and international stakeholders to develop a strategic research agenda we hope to address growing global concern around HIV and HBV/HCV co-infections and support the development of effective partnerships and public engagement around this emerging public health issue. The meeting brings together people living with HIV and HBV/HCV co-infections, infectious diseases and HIV specialists, physicians, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, researchers and those working in community organizations, correctional settings, governments and the pharmaceutical industry. The meeting organizing committee will promote knowledge exchange and support education in viral hepatitis co-infections. Stay connected by subscribing to our mailing list.
